Neopolis is a digital world in which the most progressive solutions with terabytes of interactive (and not only) attractions are implemented. An organic and non-standard combination of virtual and augmented reality, eSports, master classes and much more.

Located on the territory of the trade and entertainment center Respublika — Respublika, (Kyiv, Ukraine), which is one of the largest not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe.

As part of the general concept of Digital Park Neopolis, it is necessary to create an interactive installation, which should solve the following tasks with its appearance and technical scenarios:

— To blend harmoniously into the general concept of Neopolisa, to strengthen the perception of its main idea, to introduce park guests to its legend and the main positive and negative characters

— To consider the technical possibility of displaying the content of the installation in accordance with the situational events of the park.

To solve this task, our agency involved several studios: the creative one was responsible for the idea and complex accounting of the project, the production one was responsible for the content, the digital one was responsible for the interactivity of the installation, engineering solutions and programming.

The first stage: Creative elaboration of the design and creation of sketches

• the idea of ​​the installation was to create not a static photo zone, but an object, the key parameters of which will be interactivity and interaction for: attracting the attention of small visitors,
• involvement in the game process,
• creating a friendly atmosphere with bright emotions and impressions

The second stage: Drawing, selection of materials, calculations

Conversion of sketches into technical drawings, after selection of materials and color solutions, testing process on 3D models

The third stage: Development of an anti-vandal structure

The team of mechanical engineers used as many standard components as possible, but there were no ready-made solutions for some parts of the installation. The “dark” side of the portal is completely handmade using seemingly incompatible materials. But the smart heads of our engineers and non-standard thinking did the trick! Epoxy resin, light-transmitting materials and LEDs took the form of “living” lava.

The fourth stage: Programming

A total of 5 microcontrollers were used in the design, for some of which modified firmware was made. Several work scenarios have been created and it is possible to easily manage them.

Fifth stage: Installation

A few days before the opening of the shopping and entertainment center, installation, work run and commissioning were carried out

As a result, the specialists of our agency developed a creative idea and built one of the main conceptual installations of the Neopolis park – “Portal to the world of chimeras”. She took center stage in the theme park opening scenario! She delighted and surprised the guests of the event with her capabilities.
